D. Piper Motors is situated in Weeley on the B1441 (the old Clacton main road) close to Weeley Station at Hillside Garage, Clacton Road, shown by the arrow on the map below, and is easily accessible from newer A133 the Little Clacton Bypass.
From the A133 Colchester
Follow the A133 after leaving the A120 from Colchester and continue on at the roundabout where the newer A133 joins the old Colchester Road. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit left (B1033) and within a couple of hundred yards take the 2nd exit right at the next roundabout (adjacent to the crematorium) onto the B1441, the Weeley Bypass. After crossing over the railway bridge adjacent to Weeley station, Hillside garage can be seen about 75 yards down on the right hand side of the road.
From the A133 Clacton
Join the Little Clacton Bypass at junction of St. Johns Road and London Road in Great Clacton and follow the road until you reach the roundabout signposted for Weeley. At this roundabout take the 2nd exit right (B1033) and within a couple of hundred yards take the 2nd exit right at the next roundabout (adjacent to the crematorium) onto the B1441, the Weeley Bypass. After crossing over the railway bridge adjacent to Weeley station, Hillside garage can be seen about 75 yards down on the right hand side of the road.
Extensive parking is available at the rear of the garage.
D. Piper Motors is well served by trains on the Great Eastern Railway running between Liverpool Street/Colchester and Clacton/Walton-on-the-Naze. On exiting the station turn immediately right and follow the Clacton Road. Hillside Garage can be seen on your right soon after crossing over Gutteridge Hall Lane.
